SPICY STEAMED DUMPLINGS

Ingredients:

For the dough:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

For the filling:

  • 1/2 pound ground pork (or chicken, beef, or tofu for a vegetarian option)
  • 1 cup finely chopped cabbage
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili paste (adjust according to your spice preference)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Dipping sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili oil (optional for extra spice)
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped green onions (optional, for garnish)
