Keto Irish Soda Bread


  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup psyllium husk powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup golden flaxseed meal
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)


  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the almond flour, coconut flour, psyllium husk powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, almond milk, apple cider vinegar, and eggs.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
  5. Mix in the golden flaxseed meal and chopped walnuts (if using) until the dough is formed.
  6. Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Use a sharp knife to cut an X on the top of the loaf.
  8. Bake the bread for 35-40 minutes, or until it’s golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the bread to cool on a wire rack for at least 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
