Crock Pot Mississippi Chicken


  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 packet Ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 packet Au Jus gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 8-10 pepperoncini peppers
  • 1/4 cup pepperoncini pepper juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Place the chicken thighs in the bottom of your crock pot.
  2. Sprinkle the Ranch seasoning mix and Au Jus gravy mix over the chicken.
  3. Cut the butter into slices and place on top of the chicken.
  4. Add the pepperoncini peppers and the juice to the crock pot.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  7. Once the chicken is cooked through and tender, shred it with a fork.
  8. Serve hot with the pepperoncini peppers and sauce on top.
