Almond Flour Banana Bread


  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Optional toppings: sliced banana, chopped nuts, chocolate chips


  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan with cooking spray or butter.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the mashed bananas, beaten eggs, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the almond flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until well combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth out the top with a spatula.
  6. If desired, top the batter with sliced bananas, chopped nuts, or chocolate chips.
  7. Bake the banana bread for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then remove it from the pan and transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Slice the banana bread and serve it warm or at room temperature. Enjoy!

Note: You can also add other mix-ins to the batter, such as blueberries, shredded coconut, or chopped dried fruit. Just be mindful of the additional moisture and adjust the baking time as needed.
